Naples
I spotted a last minute flight deal at 1callflights - only 120 euros return for a week in Naples. This was too good to turn down, so on 2 days notice, I headed out for a week away from it all in sunny Naples.
I spent a great week out there, with Nicola, his family and friends living the relaxing life at the Italian pace. It's a shame it had to end, as the week just vanished so quickly. It confirmed my wish to move out there next year, and I'm hoping working it Italy will be as wonderful as visiting always is.

Pompei
Nicola and I headed out to see Pompei. It was a pleasent day, even with the light rainshowers.

Underground Naples
Nicola, Yuko and I went to Naples and looked around the underground areas of the city. Surprisingly, there are a lot of caverns, and much history underneath the streets.
Naples Skyline
We all went up to the best vantage points for a night view over Naples. The stills below aren't overly good, but the video clips I have yet to transfer show the beauty of Naples by night.
Sunsets
Just a few pictures from the evenings. I love the bright colours of a slightly cloudy sunset with the sun filtering through.
Party
While I was in Italy, I had my 30th birthday party. Nicola's mum sprang a surprise cake and champagne on me after a very good lunch, and we took some pictures. Sadly, Nicola was working at the time, but we took a few more pictures on the last evening.
