Santa Fe Skiing
We openned the SMEI camera doors on the 1st February, and after this a 24-hour period of inactivity was scheduled to allow the cameras to out-gas. Chris and I took the opportunity to head to Santa Fe from Albuquerque, for a morning of skiing on sunday.
Chris took a lesson, and I headed up the slopes after a run on 'Easy Street' to find my ski-legs again. On my first trip up to the trail head, I asked the gentleman in front of me if he would mind my joining him on the lift. We spent the next few minutes chatting, and then Joe and I spent the rest of the morning together.
Joe watched me take a few tumbles during the morning as I 'pushed the limits' too far on a number of occasions, and he provided some much needed encouragement and great company. He was also organized enough to have a disposable camera with him, and the pictures below are from Joe's camera. Thanks Joe!
