Torture Museum Trip

We went to a museum about the inquisition, and stopped enroute at a beautiful valley, and then a small village for a delicious lunch. A great day - although a lot of driving for Ruth's mum.

Canon Lobos & El Burgo

Em, David and I went south from Silos to visit El Burgo and the castle at Gormaz. The views of the canyon on the way were amazing.

Later in El Burgo, we found a good restaurant for lunch, and after some delightful desserts, I asked the manager to correct the bill. Shame on them for trying to rip us off.

Bilbao

We piled into a car for the fast drive up the motorway to Bilbao to see the town and the Gugenheim museum. The building itself is spectacular, but I have to say I was not impressed with most of the content inside!
